Message I just wanted to post a follow up to my post from yesterday regarding my tension rod failure.

As I said yesterday I emailed Charles regarding my issue and he promptly responded with the email at the bottom of my post.

I just wanted to give him credit for addressing my issue promptly and getting a proper replacement out to me right away.

Thanks again Charles for the great customer service.

Eric,

Unfortunately, there was a small time frame right around a year ago where our manufacturer provided us with the wrong caliber/quality ball joints. We were proactive and notified our vendors to check all of their stock and that we would make sure to get the correct ball joints to them but unfortunately some of those tension rods with the sub-standard joints got on cars before we realized the issue.

We have only had a couple of consumers that actually got these sub-standard joints and we replaced them immediately with the proper grade ball joints as we will most certainly do for you.

This type of failure would never have happened if you received the correct grade of ball joints that we selected to use for our tension rods. I guarantee that this will not happen as we will be sending you the proper ball joints that should have come with your Powertrix Tension Rods. They should last you well over the life time of the car if it is a street driven car.

Please email me your shipping address and I will FedEx Over Night you the correct ball joints that were intended for the tension rods. My sincere apologies for any inconvenience and please feel free to call us with any further questions you may have.

Thanks.

Sincerely,

Charles Park
